About Us
Tri-To-Beat-Cancer is an independent self-financed charity, set up in 2001 as a fun way of raising critically needed funds to support cancer research at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin.
When Anne Burns had the idea to set up Tri-To-Beat-Cancer she had to learn how to swim first even whilst she was still undergoing chemotherapy treatment. It is this sort of determination that underpins what this event is all about.
